Can't wait, My local music store is getting them in on Saturday.......Hope to be spending 1300.00 on one.....Can't wait to try it

Great to hear these things are heading to stores! Hope mine comes in up here in Oct. Can't wait!!!!

A few guys on the Mesa board already have them
That's the great thing about boogie
That I applaud any product announcement
The actual thing is in stores within weeks
Not a proto at 3 Namm shows
And arriving spring2015

whos got em at the boogie board? link?

i really want to try one... its got everything i want, and nothing i don't.
with the cab clone, i'd have no problem selling my kemper for it.

I hope I read it wrong but from what I've seen the cab clone feature doesn't let you choose to bypass the cab sims, which is unfortunate because it would be great to record directly to your DAW and put whatever cab sim (IR) you wanted.

I know you could use the FX loop out but then you lose the power tube tone.

Unfortunetly this seems to be the case, still i dont believe you would actually hear any sound improvements with the power section as Mesa has clearly stated the sound of the Mark and probably all their amps is heavely based on the preamp section and they try to make the power seccion as transparent as posible.

If you really want a power amp section that actually helps the sound get any Two Notes products, the power amp section emulation is by far the best one on the market.

Mesa could have put a full feauture CabClone in there, yet they decided it was not necesary, i see it more of a business move then anything else.

Seems cool, but I wouldn't swap my MarkIV for it. Simul-Class is where its at.

Very tempting-but, like the above poster, too satisfied with my 4.

Why would any one want to trade a MarkIV for it, i would rather have em both!

I don't think this is meant for or targeted to anyone who already has a IV or V

My IV is never going to be sold by me.
I would not mind having one..... It has some different features, sounds...... And as far as small amps go I am sure it is one of the better ones. It could easy replace a few of my smaller amps.

As a current mark IV owner, I am interested. Nice backup to my IV and more portable. I can see mark v owners going for it, if they want a backup or to have the mark v 25 as their home amp, with the big mark v has their gigging/rehearsal amp.

If you are a Mesa junkie, you owe it to yourself to get one of these. Got mine a few days ago and it is a lot of amp for a little money. Considering the Cab Clone units are $300 and this has one built in, you are getting 2 channels x 3 modes per channel for $900. The crunch mode of channel 1 is where the money's at on this amp. The IIC+ is alright, the MkIV mode is a bit better and the Extreme is good enough. The little fucker is plenty loud enough for stage noise while letting the FOH provide the power. I think I am going to gig with it next weekend. Just got to build a little confidence in the 84's staying power. Has a very transparent loop in it as well. Mesa hit a home run I think with this little bad ass.

The new rectoverb 25 is pretty sweet too.

I think they are doing a great job for portability , price and tone right now.

Stoked to hear that from someone with considerable boogie experience. Not that I wasn't planning on getting one anyway, still great to hear.

How is the thump in comparison with the other Mark's ?

If it lacks anything, it would be some thump. I am running the Mesa 5 Band EQ pedal in the loop and bumping the lows a bit. I am running through a 412 too, so probably a 212 might compensate a bit for it.

Just ordered mine!

Looks like a perfect amp for me. If I ever need more power I can always run the fx send out to a separate power amp and have a killer wet/dry/wet rig as well as the cab clone DI out.
Going to look rad sitting on top of a vertical Recto 2x12.

Here are some examples of the high-gain side of the amp...

and Ola Englund's demo

Thanks!

My local store got one in and it was fabulous. Really, really liked it. Didn't pick it up as of yet. Will probably do so later as I don't have the need for it at this point now.
