Mesa Boogie Rocket 44 or Fender Deville Hot Rod III

So, I have the opportunity to get a Mesa 44 or Hot Rod III to compliment my Roland JC120 and Peavey revolution 112. Which would be the better pick that has more to offer that the others can't? I'm also into modding the hot rod to get more range which I feel it lacks.

Any input would be rad!

Really would depend on what style(s) of music you play and whether you get your sounds with a lot of pedals in front of the amp or not. Without know either of these things, I’ll give you a generality... use boost distortion pedals for your tones— get the Fender as I believe it makes a better pedal platform. However, if you rely on the amp to get your tones... get the Mesa.
