To top it all off, this limited-edition ’90s Dual Rectifier Mod 1 sports a hard-hitting Tight mod courtesy of expert amplifier designer John Marshall. This internal overdrive circuit is pre-set to deliver maximum output and minimal overdrive to the amp’s front end, sharpening up your sound with a focused, percussive, and aggressive character.
* Limited-edition ’90s Dual Rectifier reissue, modified with a custom "Tight" switch
* John Marshall-designed Tight mod sharpens your sound with a focused, percussive, and aggressive character

Also isn't this just what the Driftwood Nightmare is? A recto with a built in tubescreamer or something

Mod design by John Marshall, I believe he designed the Badlander.
I believe John also designed the Triple Crown 100, which is a killer amp. Based on the limited information available online, the tight switch is probably a variation of that switch but dialed in for the rectifier circuit. Take that info with a grain of salt. It is just speculation.

GuitarBomb.com is also reporting it is a limited-run model. It's a great idea, but it would've been cool if they offered it in a custom color. I wouldn't go selling the house, the barn, or the chickens for it though. Like @Tone Monster said, "just buy a cheap OD pedal". It'll give you similar results.
