I just got off the phone with Chris at MESA Boogie.
I asked about Mike modding C+'s and 415 power tubes.
Yes and yes. Mike still modifies + to ++ with a pull knob and I have 2, 415 ($250.00 per pair) and 2 el34's ($225.00 per pair) power tubes coming.

Yeah, dude it was a long head, people hear down played the value of your amp. Long heads sell for way more and that's because they sound better due to the layout. People here want to beileve their should be no difference between the chassis sizes but your amp was worth 9-10k easy.

I just want to thank everyone again. I’m just more of a Marshall guy, and the Boogie just wasn’t being played. Hopefully it will be cranked in her new home. I meant to list it here, but it sold so fast on Reverb that I didn’t have a chance. I appreciate all the knowledge sharing, and that’s what makes this forum so awesome.

Mike says that he will modify my C+ to C++, switchable. He said it will be $600 + about $350 service fees and shipping. He said to set it up with him next week. The tubes have been shipped and will be here next week.
