Hi Crew.

I posted in the classifieds a WTB Mesa Rev F. Now....I have done some research and there seems to be quite a bit of fanfare for the Mesa reborn. What do you guys think?

I have been scouring Youtube (i know it is subjective) and the consistency of the F is solid. The reborn is there as well but seems to have more options. Thanks for checking this out and I look forward to your responses. With that said, I have it down to those two amps. on!

I had both and liked the Rev F a good deal more. The low-end response was tighter and faster, and was more focused in the midrange.

I've played both quite a bit, and owned a Rev F for some time. The Rev F was the best Recto I've ever played. Sort of regret selling it, but I like modded Marshalls better. But I was really impressed with the Rev F, sounded killer through an 80's Marshall G12T-75 cab (better than the V30s tbh, the band agreed as well). I'd like to get another Rev F at some point; or an earlier revision.

I prefer the 3 channels of the multi-watt. Owned a truckload of F's and can't tell much difference between them and the new amps.

The Rev F is awesome. And I'm someone who hated on the Recto for a long time, until I tried a Rev F in person - with my guitar and my 4x12 cab.

I think I have a photo of it somewhere with my MarkIV sitting next to it.
