Finally got around to posting up my Mesa Stiletto Stage II demo.

I remember asking around this gorum when I bought the amp a couple years back, and people kept mentioning the amp was bright - that is the most accurate statement ever made. You really have dial this amp in counter intuitively for it to shine, but I think it's holds it's own once you figure it out.

On the video note, do you all think I should add in a short mixed track before the play through portion to highlight the amp in a band setting moving forward? Are these videos even enjoyable? I'm learning as I go here. Haha!

I think your videos are great and I hate everything. :p

Seriously though, sounds good,

I've been offered Stilettos on trade a couple of times, and always turned them down because everyone says they're too bright. I stay away from bright amps. then again, most people say the original Butcher is too bright, and while I do run it with the bass pretty high, I wouldn't say the amp is particularly bright.

I can vouch, this amp is god damn bright. If you look at the eq settings in the video where I'm fiddling with the dials, the highs mids and lows are all dialed back significantly, wheareas the bass is rolled ALL the way up! Haha. I still feel the amp suffers from lack of low end, but if you don't mind an EQ in the loop, you can fix both issues quite easily!

Also, thanks for the feedback man! I'm working on improving these videos as I go. A month ago I didn't even know how to sync audio and video together so I think I'm makign strides slowly, haha! Just hope people are enjoying the demos. I started the channel because people are always asking me my opinions on the amps I have that there aren't many quality demos on the internet for, so I figured I should try my hand at making some.

Now my playing just needs to progress with my video editing skill. LOL

Awesome vid man. I’ve only ever got the chance to jam on a Trident once but I remember digging it
