Anyone going? Should be an incredible venue and therefore thinking about making a trip to LA-Las Vegas-Grand Canyon-Monument Valley.

I put in for the presale lobby that opens in about a week. Allegedly tool in 2027 there also. I’ve been to a few shows there. Don’t sit in the middle level since half your view gets blocked. Any other spot and it’s all amazing. Sound is unreal.

I'm really curious how Adam Jones and Justin Chancellor are going to pull this off without their notorious live rigs.

Can't wait to see a show there but it won't be Metallica unfortunately. Pink Floyd tribute would be cool.

Good info. The wife and I are considering going. Any sections you recommend?
Thanks!

Playing the sphere is the only way they can find their balls again. At least one, anyway.

Our anniversary is October19th….35 years, whew!

Wife is not a huge Metallica fan, but knows I am and we’ve never been to Vegas, so assuming I can get tickets, we will head out for a long weekend and go to the show on the 17th and do some touristy stuff too.

For those with experience, any suggestions (nice restaurants, shows, sightseeing, etc.)?

Thanks!

Are you missing it for a Pantera show?😅

Everyime I see a post about a band and then scroll down, I know you'll be like "nope".

and it bums me out, cause its always bands or band members who i love doing dumb shit, especially when they put aside the things i want them to be doing to do the dumb shit. Putting bands like Anthrax, Down, BLS and whoever else on hold for two years so they can be "Pantera" is just awful. Hopefully those bands will be touring in october when their new albums finally come out.

im sure the sphere is amazing, ive heard great reviews from a couple people that have been there. Im sure Pink Floyd or some more "visual" bands would be amazing to see there, but Metallica?? they are still the 80s thrash band to me. i want open floor general admission, circle pits and stage diving, not watching a screen or some drone show. i thought Back to the Beginning was amazing watching the bands on stage with nothing but their gear, would much rather go see Metallica or Tool like that, and maybe not have to take out a second mortgage to pay for it
