MetallicA has had enough of bullshit woke artists.

Timmys went to shit around the time it got bought out by a big multinational.
Agreed. It's been a long 20+ year decline. Once they banned smoking inside it was all downhill. Getting rid of instore bakeries for flash frozen garbage was next. Most of Tim Hortons baked goods are made here in Brantford and shipped all over. Depending on what they're making it might smell like cinnamon raisin for a 5 mile radius.

Getting rid of in-store smoking was bad?!?! Fuck me, that was wonderful.

I used to smoke, quit decades ago. Smoking sucks. Smokers suck. These days, if you still smoke, you deserve whatever awful death you get.

I'd rather people smoke tobacco than fentanyl in Tim Hortons.

Good for you.

Researching prices now- i want to affect as many people as possible with my newfound smoking habit.
Any suggestions on where would be the best part of canada to accomplish this?

Most of the modern filtration is so good that indoor smoking isn't really much of an issue IMO.
I disagree but how many places have that kind of filtration and keep it running efficiently?

The other point is that smokers getting sick cost everyone $$$. They clog up the hospitals, use resources, and then die anyway.

Damn this is as weak an insult as I've read here.

"Hey I'm gonna publicly kill myself but maybe I'll offend you while I do it".

Ok, fill your boots. Just head north. Anywhere is fine with us.

Not a question I have an answer for. I would say it varies.

I don't see that as a very good argument against it because then we need to call into question every unhealthy lifestyle. More people are obese than smoke. Many people drink too much. Maybe we should hold people who don't work out accountable for the added cost they rack up by being unfit. How about vaping? What about people smoking legal weed all day? Or how about people who eat bags of THC gummies? What about people who engage in extreme sports or participate in racing? Rock climbing? Where do you draw the line? In a free country you let people choose to live how they wish without penalizing them for it.

Regardless, I hope you are well this morning James.

I am very well today @VonBonfire, thanks for asking .

Went golfing this morning...high winds. Shot 41 (!) on the front 9 with two birdies in a gale. Then on the back 9 the wind got so bad it was blowing the balls off the green. So we packed it in. The pins would bend 45° during gusts and my eyes were tearing up. I actually have some motorcycle goggles (ala Snoopy vs the Red Baron) in my car but I didn't bring them out. Damn.

That wind is fatiguing. Glad to be home having a nice coffee and a nice brisk sit.

This might be the most privileged thing ever posted in OT
