We have to get past the footwear fetish in this thread Here's a quick clip of the same MGL100 model amp that Ricky Rockhardo played here at the shop. Hi-Gain voicing with gain set to 5. Double tracked, guitar straight in thru 4x12 w/ 25w Greenbacks, 57 & 421 mics. Great tone for a bit of Iommi Heaven & Hell Rock and Roll Angel.

I have unfortunately only played one MGL amp. But it is my favorite amp I have ever played. And It isn't even close

MGL rocks. Kicked all my Friedmans, Colby and Helios to the curb and the Morris, while I do love it, is prob next. It really is the Marshall that Marshall should be making. Good on Mark for carrying the torch

If there’s a richer sounding modern production high gain 100w amp out there, I’d like to hear it. And yes, I am doing the Hulk Hogan signature rotating palm to ear move as I say this.

I have a MGL 20, MGL 50 and got the 100 about a year ago. The 100 has been my primary go to since I got it, but I fired up the other two over the past couple of weeks & they kick serious ass as well!

Rich sounding is a great way to describe them. Mark used the phrase “perceived gain” and there is just so much of that in the amps
