MGL RED settings (not for the faint of heart)

I accidentally dialed these settings perfect because they work well with my setup...however, they work perfect guitar straight in if you have a big enough room to let this motherfucker breathe.

so first off, the eq is going to be a little to personal taste AND the speaker combination. I use redbacks because they are glorious.

Important things to note: never never ever use the sat switch...that said, it is a bit counter intuitive to put both switches to classic/vintage rather than modern, but it makes the amp.punch like a wizard. In the picture below, i have it on the low switch for my practice volume. That needs to be to the high setting, and the master needs to be at 2 oclock which would be 7 on the dial.

The presence is dimed and that is important, because you want to bring up the treble to taste with the presence acting as your boost. Only then would i mess with bass and treble. Trust me, i would put this amp up against anything i have ever played. The clarity is unreal

@itsgoodnow and whoever has one of these beasts. Also this works great in drop A straight in. No boost. No gate. I use a gate at home and you can too, but i have to play it a little quieter and boost it also. If i were playing out, i would run straight in with these settings

A) I use a gate at home to keep people from rolling up my driveway but not on my guitar rig

B) Now that the golden guts inside your amp have been revealed I can confirm your total pimp status.

Gold hardware+jewel light on an amp+actually made in USA...I don't even need to hear it to know that thing totally rips.

When mark @MGL AmpWorks was building my amp, i almost asked for silver knobs like the jubilee has. I didnt want to bother him, though.

When the amp came, i was glad I left him alone. The amp looks phenomenal, and plays even better
