makes sense, compression is often used in baby steps more than once, rather than one time of hard slamming. never say never of course.

Every time I walked by the abasi booth at namm, threre was another insane player playing on a level that was humbling through this pedal

That dude's thumb always freaks me out, LOL.
But that's a very interesting pedal. On the samples, it does sound like it gets very djenty. Wonder if it's good for some chuggy Metal.

That bloom knob is ripe to get stomped. Not sure about the layout of that thing. Maybe Tosin Abasi has small feet or had previous training in tap dancing.

Found some extra info about the knobs:
So, how specifically does the pedal work? Seems like a unique design but oddly complicated internally, like there's... two compressors wired in parallel, but where in the circuit is the Tilt EQ? What specifically are the Bloom and Smack controls? Ratio? Input gain? Does the level control only boost one of the compressors? Are all the attack/release/ratio settings of both compressors internally hardwired while the Bloom and Smack knobs are more like channel volumes for each compressor while the Level control is the "Master" volume?
There are so many ways the pedal could work. Website's down otherwise I'd download the manual.
