MIDI pedalboard advice

Hi,
I need a small MIDI pedalboard with 4 switches able to send Program Changes, bank up/down and 2 (or more) TRS input jacks to plug an external expression pedal and a latching on/off switch.

D'you know anything like that?

If there wasn't the dual+ TRS inputs issue, the Disaster Area Designs DMC-6 or 6D would have solved the issue. You can contact Matthew, maybe he can do a special order.

If the pedalboard can send control changes too, having just one TRS input is not a big deal. I listed 2 or more TRS because I asked about a program change only board, so those multiple TRS inputs would allow me to plug external on/off switches to send just the few control changes that I really need to toggle (for example) a wah effect.
But if the board can send control changes too, I could live with just one TRS input.
 
It does :) There are already a few firmwares available that can control Strymon and Eventide pedals, but Matthew can make you a custom firmware.

You can even develop your own firmware as I did, being based on an Arduino platform, it's very easy (if you have C programmation skills) and free.

the Liquid Foot Jr and the Mastermind are really appealing. D'you know if there's something cheaper around?
 
The Mastermind is probably your best bet, honestly. On top of that, RJM is one of the best companies out there. I would also highly advise against anything Liquid Foot given that people have been waiting years for their products with no word as to when they may receive them.

True. The guy at LF does some fantastic products but even if the LF jr + was my dream controller I didn't take the risk as none of my mails got answers. If he doesn't answer to someone who wants to buy his products, I'm pretty sure he won't to a guy having problems with his product.

I totally forgot the Mastermind, great controller too. The Disaster Area is smaller and more evolutive, while the RJM is larger but more user friendly I think. Price wise I think the RJM is way more expensive. Both of them have phantom power via midi. Anyhow, neither of them are a bad choice.

Let me chime in here: The DMC-6D and our upcoming DMC-7D both have two TRS expression pedal inputs. They also have a TRS jack for connecting two footswitches (normally these are momentary but we can change the firmware to allow for latching if you prefer.)

Depending on what you would like to control, we may already have firmware set up for what you need. PM or email me and I'll be happy to see what we can work out.
 
Hey there,

just a quick question: do you have a firmware to control the Digitech GSP1101?

I'm putting together a wet / dry rig and the GSP would be my wet fx processor, and I've been looking for a small footprint midi footswitch with 5-6 switches (no need for for expression pedal inputs).

My dry amp is a Marshall JVM210H, also understands basic midi program changes. The optimal solution would be that I could have 5-6 switches to control the channel changes on the JVM and program changes on the GSP wet side.

I don't know if you understand what I'm after :D but just thought I'd ask!
