Mills Acoustics - Buyer Issues

Not sure if there is another thread on this. Please let me know if there is.

A few years ago now, I ordered a bass cab from Dave Mills, which was over 1,000. The price was steep, but I was younger and looking to invest in something good. T

o cut the story short, I never received it. Dave called me several times to "ease" my worry, but yet I never received it. At one point I filed a consumer complaint based on a couple addresses I had for him, but unfortunately never had a working address...

If anyone else has a similar story or information on Dave Mills please chime in. Maybe if we work together we can find a way to get our money back. It's unfortunate he pulled this kind of thing because he seemed to be an otherwise interesting guy who at some point made cool cabs.

Mills has been officially out of business for years now. Quite a few people lost money the same way dealing with Mills towards the end of their run. This info may not help much but its what I know.

DM owes me a cab. I started chasing him in hopes he would make things right. He never did and i made the decision to move on. Unless your local to mobile AL and thats if hes still in that area yiur not going to be able to do much long distance. Good luck.

I did pay the local court to serve him a consumer complaint (or something similar... it's been a while now). My hope was that it would scare him straight, but none of the addresses I had worked.. Prior to doing that he had called me like 4 times about it all, and he did state he was probably moving as he was back into construction work, so he's probably in another state. Anyways, I'm not actively on the hunt, but it crosses my mind sometimes so just reaching out to see if there was any development. Thanks!
