HOWDY ALL!
Just want to say I've been coming by here for a number years, and you have a great community of knowledgeable people. Now that I'm old and feeble, & the commander-n-chief,(WIFE) :gethim: got me homebound most the time, I figure it's time for me to register.

Ok, my question for the day is..... anyone here know of the history of Mooresound Amplification or what's going on with them? Also, anybody experienced with the Mooresound stealth 50w head? Thoughts..........? Thanks for your time.

Mooresound is alive and well. What would you like to know about it history wise? I can briefly tell you that Jason has been building amps for a long time and really knows his stuff. He's a great guy as well. He's always willing to talk and take time to answer and explain questions that you might have.

I have played a stealth once only for a few moments a while back and remember really liking it. It's a very loud and powerful 50 watter.

It's a bit low but turn your speakers up and you'll get a feel for the voicing of the amp.

Thanks guys! appreciate the response. I have an opportunity to get a stealth head. Talked to the guy(he's outta state) and he raved about the gain, and versatility, However, I know nothing at all about the company, whether legit, or fly by night, and when I searched, their webpage is down. Their is hardly any info at all, in any forum, or even good clips either. After 30 + years of playing Marshalls, other than owning a Mesa Quad, & Tremoverb, I'm ready to step outside the box and get some variety in my life. I was calling on a Cameron, when this guy recommended the stealth. Said it was Cameron like. The only other amp he recommended was a Hughes & Kettner Coreblade. Havn't played that either, but least I'm familiar with the company.

Where do you live? Are you buying new or second hand?

glip22...thanks!

YO! I'm out here in South Cacalacky,(Carolina). Its 2nd hand.

Yea that's quite the drive to Mooresound headquarters in Oceanside (San Diego). :)

Hey, Jason just called me and we talked awhile. Ya, he sounds like a super cool layed back dude. Very Knowledgeable as well. Anywho, he spent a good amount of time with me, answered all my questions, and such, and it does sound like something I may be interested in. So ya, worth a drive outta state to go check it out.

Does this mean you get commission if I buy.........?

Commission on buying a used amp.... Sure I'd love some. :)
Are you looking at the one for sale in VA?
