He is playing that shitty Zoom box thing they made for him isn't he?

Im a huge Lynch fan, but it is disappointing that he has fallen off...the new album is horrid..I remember seeing this guy in the glory days when Back For The Attack came out. Nobody could touch this guy. He would have the most bluesy, tasty feel in the middle of the pyrotechnics. The tone was unreal. But, like everyone else, I always look to see what he is up too. Why cant these guys ever give the fans what they want..don't try to reinvent yourself when you are a guitar god. Lose the gloves, grab the kamikaze and return to greatness.

Jesus......couldnt of said it better myself and all the other guys I hang with that love Lynch!!
But if he wants to phase his tone into THAT....then its all on him. Maybe he likes it??

This thread is confusing to me. George was playing that shitty zoom box on that metal show. The clip is about 2 years old right now. He doesn't wear gloves anymore and he never touches that zoombox other than to probably grab for that terrible show. Just like how be never touches any gear he endorses oter than ESP. He goes out and just rips it up on guitar live. I just saw him a month ago crushing the stage after driving 12 hours in an RV straight to the show all full of flu. He said on stage "I'm 57 years old and have 6 kids ..I'm tired". Stil out ripping up guitar, being a guitar god is all he knows. I've got about 20 YouTube clips of the last 3 times I saw him live if you want to check them out.

Yeah I don't get it either. Sounds like some typical Rig-Talk douchebaggery, which is becoming more and more common.

I saw George last month and he absolutely kicked ass. No gloves, no phaser, great tone. His new CD Kill All Control has been on heavy rotation in my house and car for quite sometime. Easily some of his best work...Really great songs that have stuck in my head.

This place can be a metal version of TGP....full of bitches.

This thread was based on the video shown only.
No need to read into this.
Jeez people need to lighten up a little for christ sake.

They are on a thread here I think. Someone posted some kick ass clips of recent Lynch.
Tone and playing was superb.

  If you're looking for a cd of 1988 music, I can't help you there.....

I think the CD is brilliant. I've had "Resurrect Your Soul" in my head for the last 48 hours. "My Own Enemy", "Voices in My Head", "Go It Alone", "Sun"...tons of killer tracks.

Damn I am going to have to pick that up. Last thing I purchased was the Lynch Pilson CD from him.
Its been a while.....

FWIW, I wasn't a fan of the Souls of We disc....London LeGrand is not my fav of vocalists.....he's got London and a few others singing on this new one. One dude, Will Martin, sounds great on his tracks.

Ever check out his "Will play for Food" cd?
Where he covers all the old school songs with different vocalists?
I bought that one and The "Lynch that stole Riffness" from his web site back about 10 years ago.
Great stuff and his guitars sound incredible on the cd's. Someone said he was using Bogners then?

sorry, but I listened to that new cd of his Kill All Control and came away unimpressed...lets face it, the guy is a legend. But that don't mean that everything he has put out is golden. I was just stating an opinion, I didn't think that it would turn into a "my dad can beat up your dad" debate. As far as I can tell, he is hit or miss live...but hey, whatever floats your boat. (very well said, rupe.....Francis "Psycho" Sawyer rules)
