Motor city pickups

I love Motor City Pickups. I have owned a Afwayu, Detroiter, and currently have a Nasty Nasty in a Les Paul. How much better is completely subjective though. I have rolled a couple of MCP's and a BKP Stockholm through my SG and nothing is 100% perfect, however everyone of them sounded good but none of them where the match for it. I ended up putting a friends 500t in it, and low and behold it sounded pretty much exactly how I wanted.

How does the Nasty Nasty compare to the Detroiter? I have a set of Detroiters in my SG and they're my favorite of the MCP's I've tried (2nd degree BB, Afwayu, Twrecks), but I also have a Nasty Nasty bridge/Hothead neck set that I was thinking of putting in my Skervesen Raptor. I also have a Solution bridge that I'm not sure which guitar I'm gonna put in yet

I love the Nasty Nasty, it is a little clearer sounding than the Detroiter (more note definition) and there is something a little sweeter about the highs with it. The Les Paul I put it in was a darker guitar and it really helped to balance it out and has honestly made that guitar amazing.

I have a Detroiter set in a LP and an Afwayu set in an Ibanez. Both are great! Not sure the Afwayu would work in a LP, though. They are very warm and thick sounding, which is exactly what my Ibanez needed.

Does it take long to get one of Wade's pickups??
He told me about 3 weeks as of wednesday. Worth the wait though I can asure you. He does it all himself so it takes more time and orders back up a bit quicker than the bigger pickup companies.

I should be receiving my ceramic Dragon Suit any day now!!!

Got it!!!

Ceramic Dragon Suit... Aka "Speechless Version".

Thanks WADE!!!
