At the moment, Russia seems less communist than us.I guess we'll have to revisit if and when the crazed dems start rounding up more political dissidents and throwing them in jail for years with no charges or trumped up charges a la Jan 6, and well, like Trump.
Not a good place for gun enthusiasts I’m afraid. At the moment, Russia seems less communist than us.
Good point but have you seen what their subways and cities and parks look like, not too many criminals. Not a good place for gun enthusiasts I’m afraid.
Are you kidding. No criminals ? ??Good point but have you seen what their subways and cities and parks look like, not too many criminals.
And what are the gun laws in Russia? Can you own a home?
Pretty sure blues would be okay. The music I like on the other hand...I'm already ROCOR so I'd be a shoe in. I just don't know there is much interest in blues music there and maybe that'd effect my entry since blues might fall under some kinda corrupting influence list or something. I'd have to check....
Maybe I'd have enough cash left over from the move to open a blues and BBQ joint near the Kremlin. Really I'd rather be in Sochi because that strikes me as the only spot with none of those legendary Russian winters.Pretty sure blues would be okay. The music I like on the other hand...
You know they don't allow GMO's or anything Monsanto. Their food is actually food.Maybe I'd have enough cash left over from the move to open a blues and BBQ joint near the Kremlin. Really I'd rather be in Sochi because that strikes me as the only spot with none of those legendary Russian winters.
Sounds good but some cultural things I am aware of also probably wouldn't benefit me unless I got a pass as an American. Like if you are laughing and cutting up, smiling all the time you get labeled as someone with screws loose. On the other hand having an orthodox church within walking distance would be a dream. I do not have a good grasp on Russian language though, at all. I'm just now learning some spanish.....You know they don't allow GMO's or anything Monsanto. Their food is actually food.
Russian women are hot, that's a plus.Sounds good but some cultural things I am aware of also probably wouldn't benefit me unless I got a pass as an American. Siberia is one thing but you could probably handle the rest bein' from up north and all.the only spot with none of those legendary Russian winters
No doubt brother but I"m already long married so looking for low cost of living and music/business opportunities is where my priorities are. I have looked already previously and watched some tours around Sochi where it's warm but it didn't look that great from the vids. I'd want to be outside the big city at least in a semi rural locale.Russian women are hot, that's a plus.
I have been south for almost as long as I lived up north. I have zero interest in a winter spent higher up than about Memphis TN and even those are miserable. During TX winters you'll find me shopping FL real estate on trulia, lol.Siberia is one thing but you could probably handle the rest bein' from up north and all.
I wonder if they'd accept a MN firearms safety certificate as legitimate? If they argued with me about I'd just tell them not to sweat it since there are more communists in minnesota than there are in russia now LOL!!!!As of 2013 Russian citizens over 18 years of age can obtain a firearms license after attending gun-safety classes and passing a federal test and background check. Firearms may be acquired for self-defense, hunting, or sports activities, as well as for collection purposes.
seems more free than the UK today
