Ok....So if i run my guitar into the Chorus pedal....then there are 2 outputs....both of the output lines from the chorus pedal will each go into a "INPUT" of each amp right? With the Delay running in the LOOP of one of the amps right? But the Delay has 2 outputs as well. No concern? Just run it like a normal Delay in the Eq right?

i always used the delay to split the signal. if i remember correctly(been years!!!) guitar to delay, then using both outs from the pedal to the amps. this would let me run one of the amps slightly delayed. just a massive sound. i think thats how i did it anyway.

This sounds like a good easy way to start!!

Yeah I was checking out some other sites about this and sounds pretty simple. Dont want to read too much into it. Cant wait for sure!
Think gonna use the Chorus as the splitter in front and then the delay in the loop of one of the amps.

Since the chorus pedal won't have a ground switch, you may have ground issues. I would recommend getting a good A/B/Y tbh.

you'll probably experience some type of ground loop. some people will recommend using a to lift one of the amps ground. i only do this when all my amps/rack stuff is powered from my furman, that way, even if you lift the ground, it's still grounded through the other amp with minimal risk of shock.

Warning Never use a 2/3 prong adapter to remove ground loop hum. When you do this one of the amps is being grounded with your guitar cable. It could be lethal. Unlikely ... but could happen if you become the ground.

Use something like this with on-board transformer to eliminate hum & buzz
180° polarity reverse to phase-match amps.

yah, I put a high-gainer with a more vintage crunch amp and it sounded HUGE

How do you set the EQs on both amps so they blend effectively, when one is clean and the other is overdriven?

Any time you use two or more speakers there is a chance one or more speakers is out of phase. You can do this test with the speaker cable connected to the cab.

Here is a problem beyond your speakers being out of phase ....
Every time you add a gain stage in a amp it reverses phase ....
So even if your speakers are in phase if one amp has 3 gain stages & the other 4 .... you are going to be out of phase.

Being out of phase gives a weak tone .... it kills the bass & just sounds funky.

Go read the link I posted above ..... a pedal like that solves a lot of problems common when using more than one amp. This pedal is cheap & is not perfect. But it does very good.

I used an RJM rg 16 to run my diezel Herbert and ultralead in stereo through 2 deliverance 4x12s.... It was Absolutely insane as you can imagine. I actually like using my 5150 with ultralead more, more grind and raw sounding... Ran a g major 2 through one amp only... It was way too much live though, especially with another guitarist, sound guys never got right blending both. Was fun though.

If its out of phase the speakers are no good??

Also when testing should you do both positive to positive and then positive to positive to see if the speaker goes both outward and inward?
