I'm looking to add a single humbucker baritone to the collection at some point. Was thinking about a Dunable Cyclops baritone, but came across MSM Guitars recently. Does anyone have any experience with their stuff? Prices are much better for custom built than Dunable, but I'm curious about quality

I have a silver Blair. Was one of the first out of the new shop. I quite like it. The shape is great and the neck profile on mine is nice. Quality-wise I’d say it’s very much on par with Dunable and Michael was incredibly responsive and helpful to the questions and feedback I had. His prices are quite low as he’s just getting the shop going and at that price point he’s pretty hard to beat for a custom shop guitar.

If you do build consider messaging him. He’s got a sick wood selection and I’m sure would help you pick some nice pieces.

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. Do you also own any Dunables? As far as feel goes I'm wondering if I'd feel more at home with an MSM Gripper or a Dunable Cyclops as a Les Paul guy. I do really like that MSM has a fat C neck profile option

Yeah, I have 7 Dunables right now! Like I said, similar quality levels IMO.

Neither will feel as beefy as a Les Paul, but I think the MSM at 25" and a Fat C would be closer. The Cyclops IMO feels a little more towards the PRS/Strat-y side of things but obviously chunkier than either. The upper horn extends out quite far and the 25.5" certainly skews less classic gibson feel.
