Still muddy out by me, but I got a lap in over the weekend (somehow). I just washed my bike too.

Last Saturday's ride:

Fusion, I have 2 ibis ripleys, a pivot trail 429, and a Santa Cruz of some sort... & possibly a few Suhrs.

Look up DTE Foundation Trail. WINN in particular.

You have an open invite, just bring helmet and shoes of choice.

Sorry to see that BeZo, been there and still scarred!

When my boys were growing up we had the typical Gary Turners / Specialized / TREK / etc.

Not that they are my height (or taller sadly) I have a quiver to pull from:

Anyone else still riding? I did 30 miles in the last three days.

I did what I thought was an easy trail yesterday, but almost wrecked. I did the upper part in both directions, and actually liked climbing it better. There was one off chute from the trail on the ridgeline that went down to the river that was steep and rooty. I messed it up and couldn't stop and didn't have any place to safely bail. I managed not to go OTB, and as I came to a stop with my feet on the ground and bike beneath me, I scared the shit out of a frog that was chilling on the ledge. He peeped and spun around to face me as I awkwardly towered over him. Instead of gathering myself, I instead was apologizing to a frog for startling him. He moved under the root that made the ledge and proceeded to shuffle down the trail.

I didn't clear it, so I have to go back. I want to have someone with me next time I try it though. It's pretty treacherous.

Today's ride. It's 100 degrees on the trail today, so I took it easy:

Earlier this summer dub black terrain! Trying to keep up with the younger more skilled riders. I'm filming from the back of the pack at the start then in the blue shirt with hat hanging off my hip pack about 1/2 way thru

What camera?
Chest mount?

Yes, chest mount = not the safest. Go pro 9
I wanna find a good chin mount but do not like the strap on kind you see on amazon. Suggestions?
Nope! I have the same camera, but the batteries have been dead for years !

Nice footage though
