MTS Users & Marshall guys- BE mod or gigmods or other?

Guys,

For those of you with a BE mod of any type and specifically for those with an SL+ or other module that is modded, what type of territory do you cover with this mod? When I listen to the sound clips, I hear a bit of Slash AFD and that is what I am after. I find i am playing my MTS stuff almost exclusively now and not bothering tinkering with my plexi clone or playing my JCM that much. I'm looking for a mod that would give me that raw AFD tone. Ballpark is sufficient. I found the brown module (now discontinued) to sound pretty damn good when I heard what the GIGMOD brown mod does to it so I was even considering turning my SL+ into that by swapping a few components. (found the Brown layout on MTS site so I could just use better quality caps).

My question is, I'm running the Judge GTO (awesome module, I hardly play the SL+ anymore) and Brahma already, will a BE get me anything I don't already have and get me closer to the tone I am looking for? I just want to be able to cover the MArshall spectrum. GTO with or without a boost gets me my hair band tones, Brahma can get me some AC DC tones, the AFD tone is next for me.

I have a Gigmods SL+, and like it alot! I did mod it for even more gain myself though, as their stock mod was not quite where I wanted it to be.

Miyagi san..please enlighten me! I couldn't resist that.. actually most of these modules share similar values. Comparing my Brahma and SL+, I can see a handful of parts being diff, the rest is largely the same. The Brahma I think would be the best starting point but when I put this side by side with the preamp of a 2204 for example, I'm not amp inclined enough to see what I might want to tweak. Somethings I know would have to be tweaked are:

More raw gain, less compression but still enough to make the sound punchy, stronger mids, slight nasal honk. What do you guys think? Anyone have suggestions? I've also tried for more info on the Randall board, not much of a stir there unfortunately.

I think Jeff is also a member on this board, I might seek him out and see what he can work with the SL+. To me it is just "meh". I modded it for more mids and it sounds good, but the brahma and GTO just blow it out of the water in terms of sounding more organic and raw to my ears. I guess my ear just likes raw crunchy tone.
