Yea, maybe. Honestly, as a player I'm more concerned about playability & the tone of the instrument. I wouldn't call 98LTC cheap looking any way, actually it looks pretty damn solid. I guess it depends on to what you compare & what your requirements are. I guess you will never know until you get one yourself. The reason I talk so much about 98LTC model is because it's a unique instrument, made very well & sounding awesome. You won't find another instrument like this. If you are looking for a Gibson copy then Edwards is probably not your thing, check older Orvilles & Tokais.
