Musicians Friend - Going out of business?

A friend was at the local Musicians Friend outlet store yesterday and one of the salesmen told him they are going out of business at the end of this year. Anybody else heard anything about this? I hope it's not true.

MF is part of the Guitar Center conglomerate, and is not going anywhere.

Even IF such a thing was going to happen, I doubt the minions would know anything about it.

No. This is the outlet store on the front of the warehouse. I believe all merchandise comes from this location. It's a huge place.

Never knew there was a retail outlet, so maybe that location is closing? That would make more sense than all of MF closing.
