Haven’t tried that particular model, but I’ve owned and tried lots of redwood body guitars (still have a redwood Fender Tele) and have owned lots of CS Charvel’s, many of which were also music zoo exclusives. IME redwood tends to have a a dark and smooth sound to it, with some nice saturation/wetness to it, although the oil finish would make the sound drier, less harmonically rich (not my favorite spec) and the Floyd bridge would also make the tone IME a bit worse. It’s a good tonewood for sure and light weight, but I prefer a few other woods for a sound in that ball park like western red cedar or spruce for something brighter, although those aren’t common for electric’s unfortunately
For the price a good CS Charvel, especially their nitro ones, have been some of the best guitars I’ve had or tried. If it weren’t for a few vintage and high end guitars I’ve got that are now worth a lot more since I bought them I’d still probably have kept one or 2 of the aged nitro Charvel CS’s I had
