Sent the neck back... My email after no contact sending it back..

Can someone please call me?
I have sent back the neck and have not received my refund. The tracking information said it arrived last week.
Also, Scott said he would get back to me on a discounted price last week and I have not heard anything.
Your guys' customer service is really lacking. I dont feel any sense of urgency or care for a completely dissatisfied customer.
I've had 2 screwed up orders and you guys can't even refund me my money and/or get back to me on a discounted price in a timely manner.

Our shipping department just brought it up late yesterday. We had a chance to look it over and saw the gaps that you were referring to. They did not look nearly as bad as they did in the pictures. For small gaps like that, we have a special filler that we use and it minimizes them fairly well. The gaps are only on the edges of the neck and are not under the entire fret so they will not pose any issues with playability, stability or sound.
We do not feel that this issue is substantial enough to warrant building a replacement at this time. We can fix this neck and return it to you or we would be happy to issue a full refund and free you up to find another source for your neck. We are very sorry that it did not work out.
Thanks,
Musikraft

Idk wtf to do. Musikraft is a joke. I requested they call me and they refuse to pick up the damn phone.

Get your money back and move on. What more do you think you're going to get? Venting might make you feel better, but ultimately won't change the circumstances of the situation. I'd just cut bait and fish elsewhere.

Full refund.

You're at an impasse. They've established that they're not going to deliver a perfect neck in this transaction. For the amount of $$$ and time you've committed to this, I can't blame you for wanting this spot on.

Get a refund. They stated their side which you don't agree with (your prerogative) so seems like your only option is refund and go elsewhere as stated from them. And do u really want to deal with them again if their customer service isn't up to your standards?

They don't feel the issue is substantial enough? $600?

Note to self - Never buy from MK.

"We do not feel that this issue is substantial enough to warrant building a replacement at this time. We can fix this neck and return it to you" .....BINGO, admission of guilt.
Companies like this do not deserve our business. Fuck them...and any company like this. Never will see 1$ from me. For a $600 neck, double fuck you! to them.

THIS is atleast what I want out of this whole mess. I want to spread the word of how BS this has been and steer people away from this. I want them to lose business. I feel like making a long ass thread on every gear forum with every email and photo of this BS I've been dragged through so everyone sees. I CANNOT be the only one..

It's all fully documented in photos and emails..

Was just watching the Ernie Ball Music man how they build a guitar video on youtube. They showed in that video that even they have gaps under the frets and used filler and a soldering iron to fill the gap. I see the logic in expecting what you pay for to be perfect, especially when it is relatively expensive. That being said, EB sells $2500 - $3000 guitars with the same issue and "filler" solution as the second neck they sent and no one is the wiser or complains about it that I know of. Just saying...

See the 7:05ish mark...

Aren't there dudes out there that build necks? I'd imagine $600 could get you a nice neck from the right guy. That is if there's anybody left that isn't a hack.

I'm constantly bitching about this shit. Drives me fucking nuts. Nobody gives a flying fuck anymore it seems.

Seems like that with EVERYTHING these days... nothing can ever be done right. Mechanics, doctors, etc..

Ain't that the truth? Dude, for $600 it had better be goddamn prefect. This is unacceptable. Send it back. Demand a refund.

That was a great video.

I think we'd all be surprised about how many of our own guitars have this "filler" and we didn't even notice. I'm certainly not saying the OP is being too picky. It's his money. I just think this is more common than we all think. If your a company making guitars, you surely don't want those fret slots cut too deep, but if you go too far the other direction, then the fret doesn't seat and you have a whole bunch of problems at that point.
