The MXR EVH 5150 Overdrive pedal has been out for a few years. You see a demo, you get to hear how the pedal sounds with the amp used in the video and that's it. But what if we put this pedal in front of a bunch of different amps to see just how important the amplifier is when selecting a dirt pedal? Some pedals work great with some amps and some pairings just don't sound good. Let's hear how this very popular pedal sounds, set up the same way, with different amps.
I know that seems like a big nothing burger and maybe it is, but I do thank zZounds.com for loaning me this MXR EVH 5150 pedal!

I gotta say I've never played an amp and said to myself, man I wish this sounded like a 5150.
