The gig was a blast. My gf got some good clips. I will post this evening. My rig sounded awesome. So much so that all the other guitar players that showed up asked if they could use my rig after played.

We also were able to confirm who is going to play in this band.

Shorts clips, should give you a basic idea...

We never rehearsed and tried a couple of different singers, drummers, and bass players. The other guitar player and I settled on a line up and they committed.

I made a lot of mistakes.... and wasn't drinking....

Your rig does sound killer. I like the Nobodys Fault singer of those three.

2 guitar gods right there. I heard Hunter say he had a really good Marshall he used on the leads he did on Get Your Wings. That tone on “Train Kept a Rollin” is awesome.
I heard that he was recording in the same studio as Aerosmith. The Aerosmith guys were out for dinner or something and the guys in the control room saw Steve walking thru and asked if he wanted to give it a go. So he walked in and used their stuff and just busted out Train Kept.

Edit: And if IIRC, they sort of just snuck it in during mixing. It was "just another take...you were really feeling it that day Joe".

Yep, we like that singer too. He happens to be my church band mate too. He is the former singer of Abbotoire the 80s thrash band and frontman of his current band Anger as Art. We asked him to join and he agreed. He's a good guitarist as well
