About 2 weeks late but at least it didn't get lost in transit! I'm taking an extended lunch break to try and put together a quick playthrough video and mess with the amp.

I'm hoping it doesn't let me down. Some have been less than impressed with theirs, others love it. I just want a tighter, slightly more modern rectifier. I'll be sure to post my thoughts and video up as soon as I can.

I will also shoot this out with my multi watt and 3 channel Rectifiers for comparison this week

I'm very interested to see what you think, this amp i son my radar as well. I've owned mark III's and Mark IV's and a couple of rectos.
A Recto with a touch of Mark tightness in it would put me on the buyers list for one of these for sure

I’m keeping my eye on this thread, I want to love this amp. All the demos haven’t won me over yet, but it seems like every firsthand account has loved the amp.

Guys.......

I am SUPER fucking impressed with amp. Like literally, over the moon. I have disliked every Rectifier I've ever played due to the loose and muddy low end and Mid placement in the tone stack.

Immediately upon firing up, I knew it was a keeper. I don't have honeymoon phases with amps. I know right away whether I like or dislike, and I am loving this thing. Literally everything I've ever wanted a Rectifier to be. Tught, lots of low end punch, a little more in the mids and much more clarity.

Hell Yes. I'm uploading a teaser clip to make up for my computer not wanting to render my videos today, for some reason.

sounds mean. was that straight in or were you using those pedals on top?

That was wit the Mesa Gridslammer OD kicked on, nothing else. It definitely has that Rectifier growl with the mud and mess.

Good work. I like your YT demos. You do a good job representing the amps you demo.

Not sure on the Badlander still. Pretty much what I thought it would be. Not sure it is different enough from the Rectos I have now. Anywho, thanks for the demo. Keep em coming.

:thumbsup::cheers:

Thanks man! I appreciate that!

I can honestly say, as someone who doesn't like Rectifiers no matter how many I've tried or what I've done to doctor them up, this one captures the voicing, but is easier to dial in, has way more tightness and clarity, and a much more mix friendly mid structure.

Dude, that sounds really good! Better than most of the other demos. When you do the next one on the amp, can you demo what Crunch is like boosted and share your settings as well.

Also, I'd LOVE to know how you compare this to your KT88 mini Splawn.

Cheers and great job, as always.

My full video shows both crunch and Crush mode unboosted. Now, if my computer will allow me to render it, that'd be great! Lol I played 3 different guitars, 2 different boosts, messed with settings a little.

Awesome! Yes, messing with settings is really helpful, i.e. if I want a mid-crazy down, can I get it, and if I wanna get something more low-gainish for dirty rock/blues, etc. ...Keep 'em coming. It's fun to watch your channel grow. Keep it up!

To me it is useless to show an amp and have any pedal in operation with it. How can you get a proper demo of the amp that way? If you are going to use pedals, at least demo with and without the pedals back and forth to give the listener a valid platform to judge from.

Thanks for throwing up the clip, it is good to get some type of a listen.

cooool!
Can you compare/contrast to your multi-watt? This could be a GAS emergency!
