Ok now this is just my personal experience. Just want to clear it up.
I recently made a trade to Nate for the 100 watt Blades Firebolt he was selling.
Great guy....smooth transaction. When he got the amp I shipped him it had 3 broken pre-amp tubes.
I paid Nate for new ones and filed a claim. No biggie. I got the Blades from him and it was making a weird microphonic noise when I engaged the OD. So I email Blades. He writes me back right away. Asked if I changed the Pre-amp tubes. I did. Same noise. He told me to pull the chassis and send it to him since something musta got bumped loose. The same thing happend to my Recto a few weeks back. Took a bump and something got loose. Had to ship it to FJA to get the loop reworked. It happens.
So I pulled the chassis out the Headshell. Beautiful work on the board. All clean solder. No mess. Very clean work.
Well I shipped it to him. He said he stands behind his amps 100 percent. Even though I got it used he said he would fix it for free.
Well he gets my amp. Sees the problem. Fixes it up. Runs it thru some paces to make sure all is well.
Here is the kicker. He got my amp....fixed it that day.....then shipped it back to me THE SAME DAY! Top of that?
He covered the shipping back to me out of his own pocket. I was shocked. Called him up. We talked for about an hour. Guy is just passionate about his products.
I really dont know alot of what he said or did. All I know is for me?
That was the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever received. Guitar gear or anything else I have purchased.
I dont dwell on someones past. What they said or did. I know I got into it with a few guys around here.
Said stuff that wasnt cool. But fuck it. I dont live my life looking backwards. Like to look forward. Let shit slide off my shoulders. I stopped taking things personal a long time back.
Bottom line is he came thru 5 out of 5 stars. He said he will do what it takes to make any of the owners be happy with what they have. Delt with some other amp guys in the past that could give 2 shits what I thought.
