isn't gonna happen anytime soon......since I don't have one.

Messing around in the studio this afternoon trying a few different things. Been wanting to try micing up two different cabs to see what would happen. One cab is my beat up old Marshall cab with 2 original 20 watt greenbacks and two Wizard alnico Black 50 watt speakers. The other cab is my main Wizard cab with Rock 20's.

The Wizard cab has a Beta 57 and SM57 on one of the speakers....the Marshall cab has a PR30 on the Greenback and the alnico has an I5.

The tones don't seem too bad for a real amp/cab, mics and speakers. So far I've just been using the Wizard cab by itself for everything. Works pretty nice even for bass tracks using the Hiwatt head. Next up is to get a couple EVM12's to see how they fare.

Trying to figure out the Soundcloud page....put up two clips, one of the Rock 20 mixed with the Greenback 20. The other clip is the Rock 20 mixed with the alnico. I think it will end up playing them as a stream, is there a way to turn that off if it does? Anyway, see what you think if you don't have anything going on this NYE.

Tried to get the settings on the amp...not that it matters much on these old things!

Nice clip! Does it really matter if you use a real amp or modelling/profiling if it still has the tone you want?

Sounds good! one nice thing about a kemper or whatever, is once you dial in your rig, you can capture that and store it in said box, so you don't have to mic up and stuff again. I really liked it when you kicked in the gain, very nice!

That big old thing is out dated, no one uses amps any more!  Sounds great BTW.

Most likely at some point I'll end up with one for that very reason. For recording it seems like it would be pretty handy.

Wow, sounds great!!
Any mods on that Marshall ?
At one point the amp was modded, but it's stock now at least in the preamp. Increased the power supply headroom quite a bit. It's my favorite amp.

Had me worried there for a minute!
I will say they have my interest. It will take alot to dethrone my RP1000 though..

It's been outdated for quite sometime I think. But I still like it. :) Thanks for checking it out.

Man that sounds great. I love everything about that. Nice George.

Holy cow. That sounds as good as a Kemper. I think you're on to something here. :)

I had to do a double take when I saw the thread title and who posted it...I see I was right ;)

Sounded great...like a good Marshall should. Which guitar did you use, the Anderson?

Yeah didnt want to be left out with all these Kemper threads. I will probably get one at some point. I used my blue Anderson Cobra. I'm gonna send in my orange one and have the Feiten deal put on it.
