My new amp from Tommy Folkesson. New metal clip!

Finally I got my amp from Tommy!

It's an old Laney Super PA 100 with Partridge transformers (1969).

It has 5 channels, Clean, Crude, Crunch, Lead and Metal.

It's a monster!

Awesome spank cleans up to ripping gain and big plus for the total vintage collection including the guitar.


I have heard great things about Tommy's work, congrats on the killer amp and great playing :thumbsup:
 
Sounds great and might be the coolest looking amp that I've ever seen...love it!!! I'd love to take that to a gig just for the "WTF??" factor :D
 
I could see guys with their fancy tweed or metal grill $$$$$$$$ amps wiping them with baby diapers joking at the n00b carrying in some shit looking amp and then looking at their faces when he plugs in :hys: :hys: :hys:

Very cool amp indeed, I love the tones in his mods. Very raw, tones of gain and tight with just the right amount of sag and overtones
I wished he was in the states.

Seems to me like he knows his stuff... And any man that can transform my JCM900 into a 4 channel epic... Well he deserves €1000 :D

I take it you recommend him? Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but I have struggled to find good amp mod people here in Europe... Know of anybody else?
 
I look forward to getting to my computer and listening to the clip. One of my favorite amps that has been presented here was that folkesson modded Marshall not long ago. That thing was sweet. Hope this one is of the same quality for you.
 
Very, VERY cool :thumbsup: I loved the crunch you get out of that amp and the way that it cleans up with the volume knob. But more than anything , the clean channel was killer. That is the clean tone I would love to have.
 
Sounds great! Love the look. I have been trying to not send my superlead to Tommy. I just might have to now!
