Hey Henric! That thing looks awesome and sounds absolutely great (nice palying as well :-)).
I tried my Mark V modded -69 Super PA with my old Marshall Pinstripe cab with 30 watts greenbacks some days ago- The perfect match!!! So far I'm very very happy. Still considering sending another amp to Friedman though. If not just for comparison's sake

Nice!

I just read up on his site... Thanks for that!!! Your topic may just have cost me €1000 :D
Seems to me like he knows his stuff... And any man that can transform my JCM900 into a 4 channel epic... Well he deserves €1000 :D

I take it you recommend him? Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but I have struggled to find good amp mod people here in Europe... Know of anybody else?

Dan Gower

Thanks! Will check him out.

That thing kills man, looks like something littletykes would produce for the kiddies   Sounds awesome

Sounds great and might be the coolest looking amp that I've ever seen...love it!!! I'd love to take that to a gig just for the "WTF??" factor :D

Ha! Maybe there should be a "WTF" channel on there.

His mods sound great and from what I've heard he produces the extra gain in a very unique way, with a "mini output section" functioning as part of or right after the preamp. Very clear and punchy gain.

Dude, that's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time! Sounds fantastic, and your playing is tops!

That's what...200lbs? It's sounds heavy and looks like enough metal to build a pole barn. Awesome.

folkesson mods can kick some serious ass
sad thing he's so underrated in US forums

absolutely agreed to all Eric. IMHO Tommy is up there with the best modders ever. I think that hes underrated here because he wont ship to the US. I had a good buddy who used to live ins Stockholm and was going to hunt down a Marshall and send it to Tommy for the kitchen sink treatment and then send it to me when he was done but he moved. Thats about the only way any of us over here are going to gt or play one so Find a swedish friend that relatively local to Tommy

Congrats Henric, That thing sounds wonderful across the board and the playing was great. I also have to commend you on your choice of amps to have modded, its beyond cool and I would never have thought to send anything remotely like that to Tommy...

I could see guys with their fancy tweed or metal grill $$$$$$$$ amps wiping them with baby diapers joking at the n00b carrying in some shit looking amp and then looking at their faces when he plugs in :hys: :hys: :hys:

that in and of itself is worth the price of admission. he should mount a web cam in one of the knobs so we can all watch all dumbfounded looks the monster will get!

that amp sounds awesome!

This is a response I wrote in a Folkesson thread over at the HRI concerning Tommy shipping internationally. The whole thread is here:

http://www.hugeracksinc.com/forum/viewt ... =folkesson

"So, Tommy has decided he will take on international customers. There are some conditions though: For now he will not mod amps sent to him I’m afraid. He will source amps, mod them and ship them to the customer. This is due to the hassle and cost of sending amps back and forth over the Atlantic.

I have agreed to help him with the initial contact with international customer. I will do this as a favor to a friend and will only have time responding to mails when my day time job is done and the kids are sleeping ;)

To avoid further spamming in this thread I’d suggest that those interested mail me for more info at:

You are a true gentleman Ulf!!! Itll be very cool to ee Tommy's work become more popular here and The Sourcing idea is perfect.

Yhe only name player I can think of that I know using his stuff besides Harry Cody is Frank Marino. I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw TF Marshalls on stage and When I asked told that to Frank,he was blown away that I knew about them. He told me that he absolutely loved them and hes a pretty picky dude...
