Hey guys, so my band Atma Weapon is about to start playing shows again, and I put together this nice compact Marshall rig (pardon the picture quality). It's a Marshall JMP 2204 that's in a smaller headshell. It fits perfectly atop a pair of Port City OS 1x12's (Celestion V30's). The JMP is modded with an FX loop. Otherwise, it's stock. I run the pedalboard into the High input with the preamp (gain) at around 1:00. To boost it, I'm using a Barber Supersport, which sounds great. I can get all the tones I need, it sounds awesome, and it's extremely portable and soundman friendly. I don't miss my 4x12's much. They can stay at home. :) I've learned that I really just love playing through single channel amps. I can change the gain structure with a pedal or working the volume knob.

The pedal board is pretty simple. Just some modulation in front of the amp, the Boss DSD-2 In the Loop, and some in-ear/ vocal stuff on the top row.

Very nice, organized rig!

What is that light brown pedal?

Thanks! It's an old MXR Phase 45. It was modded (not by me) with an LED. My favorite modulation pedal! I keep a few around, and that one was the best option for the rig.

Cameron, are you guys doing any shows in the nashville area? Awesome rig, nice and compact.

Very nice. Similarly, I've got a couple Splawn 1x12's on order to sit under my Voodoo Amps V-Plex 50. I was looking for 1x12's the same 26" head width and the closest stock cab size I found were Splawn. They're also being made with gold piping and salt & pepper grill cloth. I'm stoked to get 'em.

I tried a superbly built Bogner Shiva 1x12 (excellent cab, bears repeating) with the amp and it sounded wonderful, however, at 24.5" was just missing what I was going for aesthetically. Likely crazy...I know...but... If I'm ever able to get my hands on a Shiva head, it'll be sitting on one or two of those cabs. Super nice.

What width/dim's are the Port City 1x12's?

Thanks man! We just so happen to be playing a gig in TN, but not Nashville. It's April 9th at the Sleepy Owl Brewery in Kingsport. Actually, it's our first gig outside of NC.

22'' wide
17'' tall
11 1/2'' deep

So they will be to small for the V-Plex :(

I'd hold off. I'm sure we will make it too Nashville before 2017. We are trying to start branching out to other states. I don't think it would be worth it for the drive. 5 hours is a long drive.

Ok, cool, thanks for looking out. If you remember, drop me a line when you guys figure out those tour plans.

Sweet rig! Simple just works. I have an 82 2204 coming, can't wait to run that with my 800 cab and pedalboard in April at my next gig.
