From what I've read, they're not planning on it, because of the lack of sales from the previous version.
I'll probably just end up getting an Axe FX III when the IV's come out, as everyone will be dumping their IIIs for the new flavor.

That's another good strategy, get in on the prior model when the new one is released; it's a mature product at that point - it is what it is and will ever be... Like a tube amp you can't mod.

I went the other way, get in early and ride the update waves for as long as I can.
