Ive been talking about this thing for ages but have just been too damn busy to get around to putting this thing together. Family and work takes up all of my time and Lyme Disease has made playing pretty difficult. There's an end in sight for that but its going to be a couple of months...
Ive had all of the parts for this thing laying around for YEARS but was never sure what I wanted to do with it. When I did have an idea, I ended up changing it LOL...
For this guitar, my son and I relic'd the body by kicking it around the street for about an hour. Both of us were winding up on it, throwing it like a discus etc until we were tired. I smoothed it out with some sandpaper and that was it..
The bridge is an old chewed up Schaller Floyd and the neck is a really nice 22 fret mighty mite with compound radius and scalloped. Disregard the pickups, its only there for show. thats an old guard thrown on to help me visualize the finished product. Its going to be all single coil dimarzios; Heavy Blues, Area 67, Area 61 , from the bridge to the neck.. I think that this is going to sound great, the body and neck sounded phenomenal..
Its cool to see something basically come from nothing and without any outlay of cash.
Of course , I still have to get around to putting it all together but heres an Idea of how she'll turn out...
