Hey man, I know this thread is a year old but can you tell us a little more about what you used to strip it? I am about to undertake the same job. Larry is great for sure but I am going to do mine myself since I have mucho painting experience. Thanks -Frank

Frank, from what I remember him saying, he was planning to sand it down to the sealer & go from there. He told me that worked well with prs he'd done before if the finish was free of dings that went down to the wood. He takes a lot of care and time - does a fantastic job.

I wish I could get more pics of how different it looks in lighting situations. May try to get some new pics next week when I'm off work if I have time.
