OK, that basically worked! I have the Whirlwing IMP 2- like yours but no attenuator- and that seemed to help. YIPPEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! 'course it was very low volume. I'll have to see what happens cranked. I did have to use a noise gate recording, but it was better. Maybe it would be worth it to get the attenuator.
