When I was a kid back in the 80's...
I saw Dweezil Zappa playing this one. It was love at first sight!

He has been selling quite a few of his old guitars the past few years.
Owned 3 Performance guitars in the past. Great great axes.

No sure if that was the guitar in "My guitar wants to kill your mama" video. But I just remember him playing the Lime Green one when he used to host MTV. It was love at first sight!

Mailman I agree I used to dream of somehow meeting Dwezzil and him giving me lessons and one of his guitars maybe an amp but not the Wiggy. He is a great player, besides Moon was hot!!!!

My kinda strat. I love to have that guitar. Tons of pics of dweezil and his old man with that guitar. But I am a huge fan of Frank because of his views of freedom of speech. And dweezil is no slouch on guitar,too.

Love Dweezil, love his Dad's music, and man - super mega uber talented. Mega respects.

But this guitar does nothing for me. And the price is just stupid.

I think Dweezil was the only one who could make any sense of the Wiggy. I met him around 2002 when the music store I worked at hosted a Peavey Clinic with him and Lisa Loeb (when they a thing). Super nice and down-to-earth guy. Said the Wiggy was designed from a specific amp he owned, but would not specify which one. 90% of that clinic was his Van Halen chops lol.

OP - I agree you need this guitar, but should try to settle on a fair price. He's aiming for the moon with that price and he knows it; I bet you could get it to a reasonable range pretty quickly -- especially if it sits for a while. I wound up selling a Vai JEM DNA guitar for just above dealer cost once back in the day...
