First things first, THIS is how you pack an amp:
Danno told me it took him around 3 1/2 hours to do this, but there's no way it could have gotten hurt. Nice job @Mailman1971
Anyway:
Built in Decimator:
Switchable from 60/120 watts:
Lots of switches to adjust things:
These actually do a lot to the character of the gain structure.
Back panel:
Points for external bias points, MIDI switching, per channel reverb and the XLR recording out, pretty cool stuff.
Took a look inside, 6 12AX7s and 4 6L6s to bring the heat.
Sound wise, I'm pretty impressed. Haven't owned a 6L6 amp in a while, so naturally this reminds me a lot of a Recto or 5150....it's got a darker tone than I've been using lately with the Herbert or the Dual Dark.
Riffwise, this thing is TIGHT. Tighter than a Recto or 5150. Didn't even boost it, don't need to. I'll give it a shot tomorrow and see what happens.
It sounds fuckin HUGE, tracks really well, controls all super responsive. This thing does what they say it does. I dig it.
Clips tomorrow maybe, hungover and don't wanna right now.
Now I gotta decide which one lives in the house and which two hit the garage...I don't have room for two on my desk or in my office really, and I only have one RL sooooo :bang:
Anyway, questions feel free.
