My battery powered skil saw can't make more than 3 cuts before needing a new battery....why would I buy a chainsaw with a battery... especially when you still have to use bar oil. Seems ridiculous.

It is kind of like a kids toy, that can kill.🤣
They do make one that goes on an ar…. I’m thinking about getting one and mounting it on my son’s ar shotgun…lol

I have a Ego electric leaf blower, they were running a deal where you get the gutter cleaning attachment for free...and I got a 2nd battery for dirt cheap at an auction. By no means would I use it for big time farm/industrial jobs but I have no complaints for yard and home use.

Those are different, and very useful. I use mine in the winter to clear snow from my vehicle and chicken areas ..or else they spend all day indoors and become boring.🤣

If you get the big lawnmower battery it really blows!!!🤣

What’s funny is the power company around here is using them. They have like multiple batteries also. Couple buddies have them and they love them. My bro whose a lumberjack says they are great for little jobs but no bueno for serious cutting.
It's true. My problem is I have acres of small trimming. Usually I just use the sharp blades until they are getting dull then do small limbing. I could buy one of those and have a fortune into batteries but da heck I'm supposed to do when the power goes down out here?

Man I grew up using those… youth work program kids were taking a break and piled all their scythes in a pile. I came rolling down the hill on a green machine and straight into that pile at about 20mph… all I had was a little scratch on my chest. We went hard around here yall…..
