I've used the loop quite a bit. It's decent but I seemed to have better luck with my Metro loop for what I use it for.

What is it about the fx loop that you don't like?

Like most of the loops out there, you loose a little high end. I found that you can pretty much compensate with the eq though.

Check out this clip. I think this is a great representation of ch2 and ch3.

I liked Ch.2 in this video.

But I really sat up when I heard Ch.3 - sounds like there's a real smooth, tight but big bass that stays with the notes. Is this for real?

That's what I was saying. Ch3 thickens up a little but I also like that it can sound the same if you want it to. I hate amps that sound like you're in a different zip code when changing channels.

Good! I think I have more bass dialed in, but...

1) I have the 50w
2) still haven't christened her in a mix

My bright settings are different too, but that's all personal preference (I think). Gain a touch higher in Crunch and a touch lower on Blow, but we're in the ballpark for sure.

Definitely going to dial in your settings next time. Like you have stated, the EQ is VERY dynamic.

It would be wise. Ted rocks! He's up there with Trace as far as I'm concerned and that's a HELLUVA compliment coming from me. Not a better guy in the amp biz than Trace, IMHO.

I'm pretty sloppy and it's not THAT unforgiving. I've played amps that I've had to shamefully walk away from and this isn't one of them.
