Just got it, so I’ve only spent about 45 minutes but I am pretty much in love! It definitely nails the dark and chewy XTC thing, but with maybe with a little bit of a modern flavour thrown in. This is the red channel with the b2 bright switch engaged, excursion set to T and the gain on about 10’oclock. Treble and mids at noon with the bass backed off to 11oclock. As you can tell it’s nowhere near approaching “loud”, maybe slightly above TV volumes. Excuse the sloppy playing as always.

The only thing I need to look into is quietening the loop as it’s adding a high pitched noise you can hear at the start of the clip.

Cheers

Luke

Do you have any right handed clips? Probably sounds great but can't really tell....too quiet.

Yeah once this lockdown gets lifted and no one is home, I’ll turn it up....god I can’t wait!

Anyone had any experience with keeping the loop quiet?

Cheers

First of all congrats on your new amp  HNXTCD!

Second, I know nothing about this amp but:
1. Does it have a tube driven loop?
2. Does if have a mix knob?
3. Have you tried patching the send/receive?

My recto has these

Where did you get it? Ive had one on order since February.
