Darkside!!!!! Looking at those mothers I cannot help but bow and back away!!!!! Wow....that is impressive.
 
My old amp! Take good care of it! It's a great one!

Didnt realize the CCV was a smaller head then the Atomica and the Old Bitch.
 
The gains are not one for the the solo channel, one for the normal master. They both work together at all times. And the CCV has less switches and way less complex than the XTC. But congrats!
 
physco dave wrote a great manual for the ccv. i can send it to if you need it

Not just a high gain one trick pony.
Rayneman left his here over the summer.
I was flippin and a turnin every switch and knob.
Blues,70's ,Cleans...all were "le pui belle"

Obviously, this amp is all about high gain, but I think the clean channel is pretty damn impressive as well...

Am I the only one who thinks that sounds like a solid state amp? I'm hearing no warmth or "bigness" to the sound. I usually don't put much stock in video clips, but other ones that you've done in particular sound much better than this does to me.

I don't actually think the clip sounds that great, but I used to own the amp and it sounds killer. Sounds better in the room by far.

This sounds a bit more up to speed ...
 
Sounds thin and fizzy. Looking at your settings, you have your presence pretty much maxed with one of the bright switches to the right. That's probably why. When I had my CCV, I don't think I ran the presence over 11:00 and the bright switches set for more gain, but not brightness. To each his own, I know. I ran the amp to get more of a mean, snarl, rather than sizzle. But then again, seems like you're playing a different style of music. I don't mean to insult. So sorry if it's coming off that way. :)
 
I would love a clip from an iPhone as I think they capture the sound in the room better.
