Were the two most recent clips recorded using a Torpedo Live?

The 2 second clips are really good,

I am not hearing bright and harsh ,it sounds clear with bite.

I think the Suhr has a more brittle top end .

The Camerons to me are smoother ,but suit that 80's guitar stuff to a T , as well as they sound great on the drop D stuff.

Nice amp

The second clip with the DL4 sound's great. The CCV has a lot of tonal options ,so it's going to take some tweaking but you are starting to dial it in nicely. Since the CCV and the Friedman BE100 are the amps most on my radar, what amp has more tightness and definition?

My old amp! Take good care of it! It's a great one!

Wow, that makes "two" kick butt deals from Johnpace2"

Charvel Dan would be proud...............

I think its super cool of you to post the clips you do. The Drive switch controls three levels of cathode bypass caps for different gain levels and voicing. Center might be no cap. I liked it switch right. The bright switches are just that. The style is two levels of diode clipping with center off if I remember correctly. I liked it at medium clipping switch left. The power amp switches act as a bright switch above presence and a resonance shift above punch. I think they work with the NFB.

Try the middle gain setting, with the bright switch on the left all the way left, and the one on the right, all the way right.

Everything else in the middle.

The no clipping on that is different than on the production amps.

Who cares what we think about the clips' tone?
You're liking the amp is all that matters.

But he still has 3 more .lol .

I still think you will dig the Rhodes Alex,

Its a different beast and it would seem you already have the Hot rodded Marshall thing covered

I am really looking forward to the Rhodes

Losing hope on the Stevens

Probably will sell the Stealth 5150 after a few tests

Lol

Buy a Cherry Bomb....seriously....

Not necessarily here, but the mere mention of a CCV sometimes causes shit to fall out of peoples' mouths. The, um, rather nefarious pedigree of the amp is not lost of me, but they are pretty amazing amps nonetheless. I know some people have had their fair share of issues, but my first-run production CCV is quite an amazing amplifier. I can't compare it to a pre-production model but I certainly feel like I got a good one. There are a LOT of tones to be found in these amps.
