That looks cool, but I thought that tubes shouldnt be operated horizontally. This is why rack power amps are typically very tall.

These are power tubes from a mig25 fighter jet, they are rated for I think 7g's at mach 3. I think they handle sitting sideways!

Interesting. The spokes don't look like they fit in regular slots. They certainly are enormous. Even bigger than KT-88s. I hope you don't end up with sagging fillament. That would be expensive.

I don't think that's going to be an issue Mike has really thought this thing out great, and I believe told me hes had an amp operating for 6 months straight with out issue... so I just don't think it'll be happening!

Nah dude.....I am pulling the plug on the amp flipping. Just have to add a Herbert to my rig and I am set. Well.....maybe another Mark III.....but that is it!!
