I never heard one of these. Should be cool!
I remember you telling me a few months back about it.....
So .....is this "THE ONE" for you?
Or too early to tell?
Def the one for me man, I've tried a TON and I mean a TON of amps, and this one does it all with a unique American sound, plus the company is great Mike and Paul are two of the best and most helpful guys I've dealt with in the industry. The amp doesn't sound like anything else out there, it's got similarities between many amps but all mixed together, it'll have the fluidity of one and growl of another with the feel and clarity of two others, along with having a bite and distortion sound all to its own. Who else has a 100 watt class A amp you know?
Honestly one of the biggest things for me is the reliability factor of the tubes. I get random stupid shit happening to my power tubes all the time you know... and finally someone came out with a beefed up power tube amp that really hold up, in an amp that is. These made it from North Cali, to South Miami, and fired right up with no issues, and they weren't packed any special way just like they are in the picture in the amp. I figured you know, if it can stand up to 7gs it can stand up to what I'm going to do with it. This is the biggest baddest amp out there, hands down the thing is I kid you not built like a tank, it weighs in at 80lbs and nearly every part on it is metal, knobs, carling switches, even the mini toggles in the back are really high quality. The trannys are hand wound by DAR and I haven't opened it up to look, but he said they are huge, to handle to the power of the bigger tubes.
IMHO it's the way stuff in America should be made, bigger and stronger with out cutting corners.
