I need an Ubercab, but I'd have to custom order it with normal tolex. There's a used older rear loaded available locally I may get. My Uberschall sounds good through my BAD made Wizard cabs, so I imagine the rear loaded ubercab would be fine. But I love it thru my FB cab, so it make me want the frontloaded version

Not a comet tolex fan?

The reason I like the FL UberKab better is the 16 Ohm speakers. They sound brighter/tighter/more focused than the 8 Ohm combo. I replaced all the speakers in my old UberKabs with 16 Ohm equivalents... and still liked the tone much better too. The FL design is cool too.

I have a nice 16 ohm uberkab fl stock for sale. But it has the swirl. FL for the win though for sure sure

I have a nice 16 ohm uberkab fl stock for sale. But it has the swirl. FL for the win though for sure sure

I'd have already bought it if it had normal tolex. Instead, I'll pay a lot more to buy a new one made the way I want it.

That's not worth the effort. Easier just to order a new one.
