Hi all!
Just wanted to share a NAD, which is the Savage 120 mk ii in white. I live overseas and there is no dealer in my country. I wanted to try out the savage, but wanted it in white to match the rest of my rig (come to think of it, maybe it wasnt such a good idea as you can see the rest of my white rig has yellowed.)
Thanks to this forum, i saw that engl is unresponsive by email but can be contacted through facebook. I tried my luck by reaching out to ENGL on facebook messenger to ask them for this option and to my surprise, they said that they were willing to make me one in a custom colour. I was initially undecided between buying the savage or a herbert, but diezel seemed overwhelmed and not very responsive to my queries, so going i went ahead and bought the ENGL. Their customer service is top notch, they reply within 10 minutes and only took 3 weeks to make my amp in a custom white headshell and front panel.
Spent the last hour playing with it and it has exceeded my expectations. This has a way more modern tone compared to the uber below it and the tone really crushes. I used to own a herbert mk ii 10 years ago and from my memory, the savage can get tones very similar to it. Totally amazed at both the customer service and the amp. This definitely the way to run a business.
