Intentionally didn't mention I picked up a Line 6 amp in the title just to clickbait you guys
But anyway. Spider Valve 2x12 combo for $50. Seller listed as non-working - powers up but no sound. After chatting with him he thought maybe a fuse blew, or maybe a bad tube, but didn't care to get it repaired and was ready to let it go. I was prepared for at minimum a blown tube or fuse; at worst a burned board or blown output trans. After bringing it home and an initial inspection, I saw that the speaker out lead was disconnected from the primary speaker...
I feel bad for the dude that sold it to me since it was a low effort and no cost fix, but hey I think he was ready to move on from it anyway; and he understood it could be a cheap fix.
This is actually the 3rd Line 6/Bogner combo I've bought within the last year or so. Also have the 1x12 version of this that I bought for my son and he loves it. Also have a DT50 that I bought non-working for cheap and replaced the PT for uber cheap. Decent amp but I think the Spider Valve line sounds better.
I also bought an FBV floorboard last weekend for $15, so this is adding up to be a killer bang for the buck gig rig.
