Modified for the B+ voltage mod and 2015/2016 Negative feedback settings....It's the sickest tone I have ever heard. More to come....And you Kemper kids ought to love the forthcoming profiles...

Nice amp!! Congrats, I bet that thing sounds nice.

Thanks, it's got V30s on the bottom and Greenbacks on top for the cab....Totally blown away!

Congrats.
When I was heavy in the MTS game they sounded awesome!!
But once I went back to single amps it was dayuuuummm!!! :D
And I had 4 Friedman modded modules.
Been up and down the MTS route 4 times. Haven't looked back.
Bet that Friedman sounds bad ass.

Congrats, looks badass for sure, can't wait to hear it.

I'm gonna do a Kemper vs BE-100 video!!! Side by side, profiles vs the real deal!

Will the profile be available for purchase?

Probably in the next week or so!

So you make money off profiles you make of other peoples amp designs? I see.

Yeah...Friedman created the Marshall tone though so I hear ya...

At some point, using your argument, everyone who has built an amp owes money to Audio-Vox or Fender...

It's easy to pick on Kemper users for this argument for sure....I see your point, in all seriousness, to a good extent....We're just sampling people's equipment/ideas and hard work....I also own a tube amp company and sell profiles of those amps too....It's rolling with the changes that keeps us alive....

Thanks for your concern. :)

He did the profile. If Dave wants to make money off of profiles of his amps, then he can make some. I really don't think Dave is interested in that though. If people want to pay Matt for his profiles, that's their choice.

Thanks. Celestion got in on it making IRs....I truly wish Friedman would make profiles, I'd buy them just like his amps....But he doesn't and I fill a need....Believe me, I'm not getting rich off Friedman or any other amp designers...I'm just filling a gap....

Cheers!

It's funny because I was one of the guys who always said " real amp sounds better".. " power tube and power section is so important" etc.. but I think the reason people feel the module stuff is lacking is because they are always stuck listening to the preamp with little push from their power amp. It is true that the MTS power amp is designed really neutral and clear but with the right tubes and some volume, you can get very close to some amps. I spent last week going back and forth between my 82 JCM800 on 7 and my Friedman spec brahma set to about 5 (noon on the amp's MV) and they are very very close. The marshall has a bit more squish because it is working hard and the power amp is crunching but tone wise, the brahma is pretty much bang on. The difference with how i run mine is A. attenuate with a Two Notes Reload (to krank it) and B. and this is the key, get the dam volume knob on the modules up! They are wimpy at noon.. i see people playing with these at noon and below. No wonder they get so many mods. The Friedman designed stuff was good : Grail, Scary, Brahma, Super V. You just need the preamps volume up at either 75% or full. That simple. Thicken it out or it sounds raspy, thin, and starved.

Now, obviously some amps replicate better than others... hard to really get that AC sound but with the technology available to us now , why not take the pre out and go through Two Notes WOS and add EL84 power saturation by pushing the levels there? While you are at it, throw on some nice chimey speakers and with a few mods to your Top Boost module, you can get in the park. I also remember the stock Black Face did some really nice cleans and pushed Fender crunch. Throw that in with some 6L6's and a cab in Two Notes and you are even closer.

Anyway, my stock Scary and Brahma are pretty damn nice. Modded MArshall and good vintage Marshall sounding. Something to consider. I will def be checking out the Synergy SLO and BAssman.
